Our CATS Team is proud to have been selected to participate in this custom-engineered project for the US Department of Energy through Four Rivers Nuclear Partnership (please make sure to see this article and this attached link). This was a critical job that required precision and expertise, as it involves the meticulous decommissioning of a Nuclear Enrichment Mega-Site.
CATS was awarded the dust collection portion of the project, which involves the removal of large converters weighing upwards of 70,000 pounds in preparation for building demolition. With materials of this nature, it was essential for our Team to get it right. As usual, CATS utilized Amtech (now owned by Clean Air Industries) to custom engineer dust collectors that met the specific requirements for this unique process.
